Missing header option in basic data text tab of MM03.

I am not getting header option in basic data text tab of MM03 transaction.Due to this, i am not able to see "Display Log".Are there any settings to be changed to get that option?

Hi Shruti,

I had some thing similar and found that I didn't had enough authorization to view the tab.

So please check with your security person, most probably it will be authorization issue.

Did you try to click on icon after selecting a text ?

If we go to Basic data text tab of MM03,go to editor...then Go To menu option, there we have the header data option and from there we can get the other information.

The authorization issue is causing this error. Try using the t code MM04 to view the display changes.

For different types of materials, screen sequence is maintained.

This screen sequence is maintained in customizing.

Kindly follow the customizing path:

SPRO(transaction) -> Logistics General -> Material Master -> Configuring the material master -> Define structure of data Screens for each screen sequence.

Check in that if basic data text tab is not defined for the type of material you are using.
