Cost determination message in PM oders (Message no. CK262)

Hi Experts,

While creating PM order through IW31 when we are going to select material in component tab and while cost determination the following error comes.

Messages were issued when costs were calculated (see log)

Message no. CK262

We are creating Material with following steps with LSMW.

1) First we are creating material through MM01 with Price determination=3 (Single/Multilevel) and with price contol indicator V (Moving average price)

2) In second step we are changing Price determination 3 to 2 (transcation based) through t code CKMM.

But when we are creating material manually with Price determination 2 and Price control indicator V then we are not getting any message.

Give the complete log details by menu Go to - Logs - Cost Determination.

I think there is no price for the material you have specified, kindly check the accounting view after you have done the LSMW and the price determination

In addition to the above, you may have split-valuation active on your material master and therefore need values at the batch levels too.

Get your MM team to investigate.

You are right through LAMW the proce was not updated.Now we changed LSMW and it works

Dear Vishnu,

I think, This Material haven't contain any moving price. Please Check the material by mm03 and check the Accounting Tab. Please Check like this screen Shot. If error is same, then have to update the material price.
