Consolidated report based Material group

Hi All,

Client wants report with fields opening stock, purchases, Received from(Trans In), Consumption, Transferred from(Branch transfer), closing stock. See attached pic

Can we have all this filed in standard report?

I know we can use MB5B for above but it does not give separate fields like purchases, Received from(Trans In), Consumption, Transferred from(Branch transfer). Clients wants same format as Auditors refers same format.

An alternative is doing it in SAP query / SQVI. It will let you create reports, create your own query, do joins and enhance the output. I do understand that not everyone likes SQVI but at least you do not have to get an ABAP developer to do it for you.

Else, SAP ABAP Report programming is the way to go.

are these external auditors? why not asking them with which SAP transaction such report is prepared if it is standard? Many such auditor companies do SAP consulting too. So they should know well if this has to be developed by each company itself or if this is a standard report.

For me it looks very much like something that needs to be developed by your ABAPers.

Hi Jurgen,

Yes, these are external auditors for a Newspaper company. User wants all report from legacy system in SAP with same format.

All information is there in MB5B, they want it separated by purchases, consumption, etc.
