iview or tab opens in new window in ep7.3

Dear All,

currently iam in employee search tab in ess, when i click on personal information tab it opens in a new window, which i dnt require. i want to open in same portal contant area of the same window, when ever i click on the tabs or roles. please suggest me with your valuable inputs.

I checked the property and changed the launch in new window as "Display portal contant area"

In persoanlise option of portal set Discard unsaved data.

Save and restart the browser and you wil be good.

Personalise option will be available when you assign the role.

pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role.

Hi rajendra,

Thank you for your valuable answer, as you mentioned that is for ep 7.0, for ep7.3 version we need to do at administrator level, make work protect mode value as 3. then the issues gets resolved

Hi Jay,

Check the iView Navigation properties, There is a property that controls how an iView is displayed, you can set it to open in the portal content area. Check for this property on the Personal Information iView.

Thank you for your quick reply, i already changed the iview navigation property

launch in new window as " Display in portal contant area"

then also facing the same error. please suggest any thng to change other than this
