Broadcaster & Precalc migration

Hello all,

We currently use the PRECALC Server and Broadcaster heavily to distribute reports to a large user community.  We are in the process of architecting a new BI landscape that would include BOBJ.  We've documented all the current BW tools that we're using and have identified the new tools or services provided by BOBJ that will replace these; however, I can not seem to find anything around what replaces the PRECALC and Broadcaster services in BOBJ.  Does anyone know what is available in a BI 7.3 / BOBJ 4.0 environment that can facilitate this functionality?

BOBJ is basically a reporting tool where the source can be anything like BEx query, Any Application, SAP system, Excel etc..

Precalc and Broadcasting is an exclusive feature given by SAP in BI technology. There must be something in BOBJ to deliver reports to the users. Please post it in BOBJ forums.

Hi Suman, thanks for your response.  I actually found a probable solution or work around using BOBJ Publication and report bursting.  I do not have a working environment to test my theory, but once I do, I will update this message to either validate or not my assumption.
