Search for vendor using vendor name2

Hi all,

If I search for a vendor (transaction code xk03) using vendor name2, no result was found.

For example: For the above vendor, enter "*technologi*" into the Name field, no result was found.

Is there any way to search for vendor using NAME2 field (without making changes to the standard matchcode or search terms)?

If you want to search like this , you need to maintain the second name in search term 2. Then system can give these results . Otherwise system will check only first name.

Hi Karen

There is no search available on name2, name3, name4 of Vendor in standard help.

In order to get that, we need to create a  elementary search and append that search to the Standard help KRED.

You can see that in SE11.

thank you very much everyone. Since I am new to SAP, I am not sure how to create the elementary search. Do you have any guides or instructions of how to proceed with this option?

Hi Karen,

You can assign this to the ABAP team.  They can do it.  There are lot of guidelines available in SDN itself.

in the fogure of above as you mentioned phrase *technologi* exist in name2 but you put in name1. you should put in name2.
