analysis for Office requirements

Hello

We are facing some issues with the analysis installation.

We are facing a bizzare notebook behaviour:

- WIN7 64 bit and Office 2013 with 32 bit installed

- analysis office 1.4 32 installer downloaded

- .net framework 4 installed

When starting the installer (as administrator) the prerequisites are checking for Office 2013 32 bit (which is actually installed) but we can't proceed with the installation.

Is this a known bug ?

Any workaround to solve this issue?

Hi Marian,

Can you oepn this query with BEx or Analysis OLAP?  If so, then you should open an OSS message and attach the screenshot and logfile.  If they can't open the query, then you may want to open it up in the query designer and troubleshoot it.

As a tip, you can have a look at the Analysis logfile to see if it is recording any exceptions before closing.  The default location is: C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Local\Temp

thats not a "bug".

When you use Office 32 bit then you need to install Analysis Office 32 bit

The Installation part is solved.

But the error: "SAP BI Add-in has disconnected all data sources" is not yet solved.

Any ideas?

  Have the same issue, have opened an OSS ticket, that's the answer:

  "The installation of Analysis Office will work with the next patch, that's AO 1.4 SP 2. It's planned to ship this SP end of July (calendar week 30)."

The new patch was released and the installation was successfully.

Unfortunately we receive an erro "SAP BI Add-in has disconnected all data sources".

Did you already installed the newest version?

Any issues so far?
