Passing Input Parameters to HANA

Hi, we have created a Dashboard that picks data from HANA using IDT. I need help with the following-

1. Can Dashboard pass values to HANA that can be used as Input Parameters ( to Calc Views and Stored Procedures )in HANA

2. If the answer to 1 is yes, will change of values refresh the Dashboard. For example if there is a filter on Company Code in Dashboard (which gets passed to HANA as an Input Parameter). If the user runs changes the Company Code to 'A' from 'B', will the Dashboard be refreshed.

Pl advise.

Here is my scenario - I have a Dashboard with a filter on Company Code. The Dashboard is fed using a HANA Calc View (SQL based). My requirement is to map the Dashboard filters to objects in HANA View - changes in filter value should update the Dashboard automatically.Am not sure how this can be done - having input parameters on HANA View seemed obvious but am not sure how Dashboard filters can be linked to input parameters.

Or there is another way to do it.
