RFC iviews lock backend user when using User Mapping

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading from EP5 SP5 to EP6 SP12. We are using User Mapping for SSO to the backend SAP systems and have installed the Asset Business Package. Everything works fine in EP5 but in EP6, whenever the user tries to view any of the Asset BP iviews, the backend SAP user gets locked. We have tested using a SAP transaction iview (same system alias etc.) with no problems, and have also tried using SAP logon tickets, which work fine (unfortunately this is not a solution for us as most users have different portal & SAP IDs).

The SM50 trace gives the below result:

N dy_snccheck: do checks for >HY1 <, typ=I

N DyISigni: client=500, user=BASISUSER1 , lang=E, access=F, auth=R

N DyDoSncChecks: client/user/access/auth :500/BASISUSER1 /F/R

N usrexist: effective authentification method: RFC ticket (fingerprint)

N user was locked by subsequently failed password logon attempts

N no password logon => failed-logon lock is ignored (note 498889)

N password logon is generally enabled (default)

N password change not required (expiration period=30 / days gone=9)

N save user time zone = >GMTUK < into spa

N DyISignR: return code=0 (see note 320991)

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Jane
