iView error - corresponding service is not available in EP6

Hi.

I am running EP6 SP9. I downloaded an ESS business package (Business Package for Employee Self-Service 4.6C - 4.7 50.4) into EP6. I am hoping to take advantage of SAP development for "my appraisals" for the employee.

When I click on the iView (com.sap.pct.ess.appraisals.my_appraisals), I get the following error:

<b>URL http://hostname:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/my_appraisals call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.</b>

This error indicates that the service my_appraisals is not available. I logged into the target SAP system (ECC 5.0) and found no reference to that service from tranx SICF. This iView allows employees to display the appraisals they have received. The iView indicates that it was developed for Employee Self-Service 4.6C - 4.7 50.4. My target is ECC 5.0.

Any suggestions for how to resolve this? Why is some available EP bus pkg content so "dead" in EP6?
