0PM_ORDER_0STATUSSYS0 missing text

Hello,

In order to be able to make some selections on the status of a pm order I made the attribute 0STATUSSYS0 of the info object 0PM_ORDER navigational. This solution is well working but in Bex Queries I see only the value and no text. So I did the necessary to create a data flow to retrieve the texts for 0STATUSSYS0. However no data is received from the OLTP system.

In SAP notes 459237 and 300300 I found some information but it is still confusing. Do I have to make the customizing settings in Maintain BW Status Object for System Status in order to be able to extract the text of the different statuses ? Has some one experience in using system statuses or user statuses ?

Best Regards,

Hi Erwin and welcome on board!

Did you try to activate the datasource 0STATUSSYS0_TEXT in RSA5 (R/3) and to run it in RSA3 to see if it's enough to extract text or you have to do some additional activity ?

Hope it helps!

Roberto

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for your quick reaction. I have set up the whole data flow (from R3 to BW)meaning activation of the mentioned datasource in R3 and also on BW.I also checked by using RSA3 but no data was found. So I thought it has something to do with the customizing for statut concept.

Best Regards,

Has anyone found a step by step solution to getting the 0STATUSSYS1_TEXT or 0STATUSSYS2_TEXT extractors to provide data? I want to get the texts for the 0PRODORDER_ATTR values that are in the attributes 0STATUSSYS1 and 0STATUSSYS2. I read the notes and don't understand why the texts will not work in RSA3. I am getting non-null values in the codes but they don't mean anything without the texts.

Hi Richard:

Try using the 0STATUSSYS1_TEXT and 0STATUSSYS2_TEXT Extractors and check if the SAP Notes below are applicable to your system.

Note 328948 - "Corr.of DataSources 0statussys1 and -2, 0s_operat"

Note 381281 - "0STATUSSYS1_TEXT Field BW Status not displayed"

Note 300300 - "PSBW: Application of the status concept"

Francisco Milán.

You are on the right track with the customizing settings in Maintain BW Status Object for System Status. That will create the entries in the table from which Status text extractor pulls the data.

Thanks
