BPC NW 10.0 message "Lock NOT set for: Deleting master data attributes"

Dear BPC Experts,

We are new to BPC and have tried to delete master data from one of our dimensions and are receiving the message "Lot NOT set for: Deleting master data attributes". Has anyone else encountered this error? If so please advise us of either the setting change we need to make to allow the deletion of master data that is not needed or if we need to pursue this with our security team?

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this issue.

Best regards,

Lisa

Hi there Lisa, in case you`re still experiencing problems with this issue, follow the steps below in BW

    1. Run program SE38

    2. UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE

    3. Select the relevant Environment ID and Dimension (Check>Re-generate Cache file)

    4. Execute

You should now be able to go back into BPC for Admin and process your dimension.

Tell me of that works, it worked for me.
