I am now starting to do a project for engineering and construction and have a few questions that follow in relation to the Budget:

1. Budget availability control works on the PO as long as the PO is account assigned to the project.
2. When you create a project you must select Valuated Stock, Non-Valuated Stock, or No Stock. This setting affects how financial postings are made when GR is posted. Do you mean Plant Stock or Project Stock?

1. You should create a WBS related to procurement and assign budget to this WBS as per requirement of project. Then create PO with this WBS. This will control the budget to purchase.
2. yes, you can make a purchase of material for stock directly to a project. You can create reservation of material for that project.
