Billing price according to actual goods issue date (or billing date)

Hi

Somehow our sales condition prices are changing frequently and our agreement with customer is to always offer the latest price. It's OK because we are using requested delivery date as our pricing date. But, when the sales order is rescheduled, we will have to update the price date manually. That's still OK because the pricing date should be updated together with delivery date. Then if for some reason the delivery date is NOT updated (people make mistakes), then we will have an issue with the price.

Is there a chance to take the most updated price from conditions within validity period when we issue invoices to customer and that's right after goods issue activity.

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Hi

Please check what pricing type you are using in your item level copy control. Go to VTFL and check in your delivery to billing combination' item level. Maintain B  there so that whenever you create invoice system will cary out new pricing. It will also update all discounts and surcharges etc and manual pricing will be ingnored. If you use C then manual will be copied and others will be redetermined. Please check and update.

Hi Zh Y,

Adding to what MoazzaM is indicating, you could also use Pricing Type -

C - Copy Pricing Elements unchanged and change Auto Price Components;

G - Copy Pricing Elements unchanged and change Tax Amount;

Depends upon your scenarios. In case you have some manual pricing in the Sales Order whether -  Freight, Discounts or Surcharges, you may not want to touch those and want them to change.

Thanks.
