budget exceeds in Service PO

Hi Grus,

    We have Project (WBS) based budget system which will check at the time of Purchase order. Now we recently upgrade the SAP EHP6 and face the issue that If suppose we have budget on WBS RS 1000 we had make purchase order for Rs900 it will release and this service Purchase order is partially utilized means for Rs 600 service sheet entry is made after that we need to amend the same service PO  and for that we unreleased the same and do the changes. now my order value is Rs 999 then also system shows error budget exceed. why?

Hi,

Error you are getting as message number 629  set in application area BP  with t.code: OBA5 and t.code: OBMSG.

Check any other purchasing documents(such as PR's and PO's)alreday created and cross check Budget value with t.code:S_ALR_87013558 or CJI3.

Better discuss with PS or FI/CO team about Budget Value and Existing Purchase order changes with error for project/WBS Network.

if this PO is created from a PR, try changing the value in PR first

Problem is that you made service entry document with Rs 600.

Check your PO history - I think it will still be showing SES for 600 amount. Hence budged exceeded.
