Role import - profile name not populated

Hi,

I've recently handling the task of importing back-end roles into GRC system in NWBC.

1) I set up two roles in GRC plugin system and did import of them in GRC role import without running any sync program . I could successfully uploaded the roles into GRC. I was under the impression role synch job is mandate as prerequisite to this process , but isn't true?

2) How role type is being identified by GRC system that I'm importing (no synch job is running) either single/derived /etc? is this role import option directly contacting GRC plugin system through RFC?

3) Profile name is not getting populated in after my successful role import? what could be the possible causes?

Hello Krishnakumar,

• Please tell me which version of GRC and which SP are you on?
  
• Also, are you using a template to import roles or any other method?
  
• Are you getting the message roles are imported successfully or any other message? Cos if the message is success, profile is also imported as part of role import.

Please answer the above as a followup to provide a solution.
