Need to log custom field in Change History AB

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement to add few custom fields in Activity and Lead Overview screens and also log the data changes in those fields. Can I make use of Change History Assignment Block to log the changes? If yes, How? Is there any alternate solution you can think of?

Please let me know ASAP. We are using CRM 7.02.

Hi Amit,

If you want to add field to any already register object in change history, the field will be automatically logged in change history.

Can you tell me in which BO Object you are thinking to add new fields.

I want to add the custom fields in BTACTIVITYH. Does it helps?

Hi Amit,

If changes in already existing fields of BTACTIVITYH is getting registered in change history.

Then it helps. you can add field directly and changes will get logged in change history.
