Need to calculate dep only 15days based on acquistion date.

Dear All,  (I could not find solution for my query in the forum )

I want to calculate depreciation for 15days only in below cases

If the asset is purchased between Jan 1 to Jan 15 deprecation should be calculated on Jan16th

If the asset is purchased between Jan 16 to Jan 30/31 deprecation should be calculated on next month first i.e feb 1st

Pls advise how to configure

Please use the period control key 3 in t-code: AFAMP for Acquisition.

Hi,

Regarding your requirement, accordingto me you can do is change the Period control by executing T-Code 'AFAMP' for the purpose of acquisition to 03 and also in T-Code 'OAYR' select the period and method under posting rules as 'Bi-monthly posting'. By this your requirement should be sufficed.
