Disable changes to Basic Pay

How can one disable changes to Basic pay(info type 0008) for perticular user group in their personal area in SAP HCM?

• Right now this perticular group gets the basic pay screen , although adivised not to change and just continue , many cases have arised where they mistakenly change it.

this you can achive via authorization.

use authorization object P_ORGIN . which you can control.

This can be done in transaction PFCG (role maintenance/profile generator). Access the role assigned to the users and adjust/correct the authorization object P_ORGIN for IT0008 to be read (R) access only for their  particular Personnel Area. Most auth experts recommend read and matchcode (F4) together (R,M). If you don't have access to this, then simply pass the necessary information on to your security team to maintain.

Security team can be asked to disable the change access for IT0008.
