Hi All,
I am working on ISU related project as CRM WEBUI consultent.
What is processes in CRM?
I have an idea on ACTION Profiles.
Is there any variation between actions and processes?
can any body explain about this?
Regards,
Suresh.
Hi Suresh,
CRM Actions (cf. http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/Action+profiles+in+SAP-CRM) and the CRM Utilities Process Framework are two different things.
In short, CRM Actions are used to trigger actions like sending an email or starting a workflow based on the status of a business transaction. In contrast to that the Utilities Process Framework is used to control the execution of complex utilities processes (like, e.g. start of supply) in the UI. The Utilities Process Framework Cookbook gives a nice overview of the Utilities Process Framework. The cookbook is available on the service market place (http://service.sap.com/utilities -> SAP for Utilities - Product Information -> SAP CRM for Utilities -> Cookbooks & Guidelines).
