Is it possible to secure the SAP Telnet Administration port, which is usually port 50008?
I would like a SSH type connection, so that data cannot be intercepted/read and non-authorised connection attempts cannot be made.
Note that the SAP system is on a Windows environment.
Hi Paul
Kindly go thru the SAP Note

Thanks & Regards

You could enable the Windows firewall to only allow telnet from authorized management subnets/IPs. I recommend from other SAP systems, as they typically sit in the same subnet in a data center and hard to sniff unless your network team is performing some tasks to track down an issue.
