Unable to import changelist wsdl into nwds

All,

I have installed and setup NWDS 7.1 ehp1.

I am able to connect to enterprise services registry as well.

However all the required wsdl that I want to import like CommunicationChannelService are under external definitions of http://sap.com/xi/XI/System and not under service interface. and hence when I go to file >> import >> wsdl >> enterprise services registry I do not see them.

Does that mean importing from WS navigator or download wsdl and import as a file are my only options?

Hi,

I suggest you to import the WSDL for changelist service directly from SAP PI system because when you import this way, the WSDL has proper bindings necessary to generate the client code.

give following URL in above screenshot and click finish to import the wsdl

http://host:port/ChangeListService/HTTPBasicAuth?wsdl=binding&style=document&mode=ws_policy

I think your NWDS is not connected to your ESR . Please check the connection .
