Additive for mixed costing

Hi Controlling Experts

Scenario: I have a material that is proudced in two different plants (A & B), and then they should be transferred (30%A & 70%B) to plant C (Distrubition plant).

Is it possile to get additive cost in Mixed costing?. I have created Procurement alternatives and Mixing ratios. also "Additive cost included" is selected in Costing Variant and additive cost check box was selected in Valuation Variant.

I have created additive cost with Category V (Variable item). But additive cost is not picking in standard cost estimate (CK11N)

I also tried to add via costing sheet, but costing sheet is is ignored when running CK11N.

It doesnt seem possible with SAP; However, in case it is not possible, what work around would you suggest

Regards

Ahmeda

    Hi Ahmeda

I never explored additive cost with mixed costing.. So I cant comment with confidence

Did you create the proc alt in Plant C?? And are you able to see iin CK11N (Plant C), both the Proc Alt??

Also, make sure that you are saving the additive cost in CK74N.. you need to save it after entering the values for Item Catg V.. And then, Press the back button and save it again

If with all this, additive cost does not show up, then I think in mixed costing it wont be available... You can very well use the user exit option in Val variant (Strategy U)

    • Hi Ahmeda,

I have done this. And while doing CK11N or CK40N I don't have problem. I am getting additive cost while doing this.

Problem arises when I use mixing ration. In CK94 I did mixing ration for the material in question and ran CK11N. After doing CK11N I am not able to see additive cost at all.

Please let me know if you have any clue on this.

    Hi Ahmeda

Unfortunately as per SAP standard, this functionality is not supported

Check SAP Note # 1573495 - Additive Costs do not appear in a Mixed Costing
    Scenario

You may alternatively use Activities / Overheads tactfully to fulfill your requirement.

    Thanks & Regards
