Store data from different SAP system in ILM?

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to import data from one SAP system into ILM on a different SAP system? My company is buying another company and wants to store historical financial data from the other company's SAP system.  On top tof this it is only a subset of data not the whole lot.

Hi Rob,

It sounds like you are talking about the System Decommissioning part of SAP's ILM Solution.  Please take a look at the following link to see if that helps.

Hi Rob,   Karin is correct.  You'd need to use a stand-alone ILM system on like EhP 6 or 7 to import parts of the other companies data into your landscape.  The source system release doesn't matter but 4.6C is much easier to an ECC6 ILM system.  If you haven't already addressed this issue, let me know as I have done this 3 times transferring many countries to 1 central ILM system & shutting down those 3 SAP systems.    I could send you some info, project task lists, etc    Bill Murdoch Auritas
