MSA Synchronization Password Not Set

Hello:

Could anyone of you help me? I am new in MI and I am trying to synchronize a symbol PDA device where I have installed successfully the MobileEngine and the MSA application. But when I Select the Sync link into the MSA the system send me the following error:

$(Synchronization password not set) and does noting.

Where into the MSA application can this password being set?

Hope any of you guys can help me!!

Hi,

Let me explain this in detail.

There are two types of syncs in MSAHH application.

1. Application and addon sync

2. Data Sync.

While application and addon sync is used to get application from middleware(webconsole), data sync is used to get data containers from crm backend via middleware(middleware remotely connects to crmbackend).

Now this remote connection has a password that is same as sync user password.

To avoid the trouble u can put the following entry in

MI/settings/mobile.conf file.

<b>MobileEngine.Security.SynchronizationPasswordHandlingOption=local</b>

It has to work
