Spell checker for ITS page

I have a requirement where i have to do spell check on the textareas of the page. How do i go about it ?

hi,

you have two solutions: either you make the check on the client side using javascript coding or you implement the check in the underlying ABAP transaction.

Thanks for the replies..I thought of using google tool bar , but individual users wud have to download it ..Anyway i have downloaded spell check software and dictionary from sourceforge site and planning to implement this on the ITS page

Hello JJ,

Not sure if this will suit, but there are a few browser spell checkers out there. I've seen one called ieSpell but I haven't really used it so can't comment on how good/bad it is.

Google shows 600,000+ hits for +browser +"spell check" so it may be worth trying a few out if this is a viable option for you.
