Failed to set db credentials server xxx error -1102

Hi.

I've installed test server with SAP 8.82 pl08 On this server i have licence server but the SQL server is on other server.

When i try to add SQL server to licence manager i have error as shown above

Please advice

Ok, i've solved it.

The problem was with the collation of SQL server.

I had _CS_AS insteed of CI_AS

Hi Lukasz,

   As per your question, there are two servers like Server A and Server B.

You have installed SQL in Server A and Installed SAP in Server B.

Currect me if I am wrong.

In this case, make sure your both Servers should be in one network. While installing the SAP in Server B, you have gived the path of SQL Server of Server A.

Then, in Server B, you have to install the SQL native client to use the Service Manager.

In my situation it is not the case

I don't use NAP. I' ve changed TCP/IP settings. I also dropped SB)Common and made new one from upgrade package. still no luck

It is an application error in 8.8 version.  I am not sure in which patch level they fix this.

Yes I know that the above notes for 8.8 version. Just I gave information is that, it is application error in 8.8 version. But I am not sure in which version and PL they settled this problem.
