Commodity code & does not exist in the country

Hi Experts,

     When I change the material data in MM02, this msg show up: Commodity code & does not exist in the country &(M3 579), can you help to give any suggestiong on

this? Thank you very much.

Hi Hu Steven,

This message show up when the entry in T604 table is missing. Go to SPRO:  Sales and Distribution>Foreign Trade/Customs>Basic Data for Foreign Trade>Define Commodity Codes or SM30 view V_T604 and create an entry for your country and commodity code.

Check t.codes: VE64 and OVE1 for Commodity code & Country code assignment

Hi,

Check in configuration SPRO -->Sales and Distribution --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Basic data for foreign Trade --> Define Commodity code/ Import code number by country.

If the commodty code does not exists for the country, you can define it here.
