Invalid memberset EVDRE error in SAP BPC MS v7.5 SP08

When creating a default EVDRE (any basic evdre), when you refresh workbook to create the default evdre, the EVDRE comes back with an error

INVALID MEMBER or FLAG in <member set>, item: SELF, col #1

Only SELF gives this error, BASMEMBERS, MEMBERS, ALL, DEP etc all work fine
