Hi All,

I have a strange requirement in SAP BI4.0 webi reports.

User wants to insert some comments in the report and share with the higher management.

Tomcat is the web server; SAP BI4.0 SP6 is the environment.

Do we have that option in the SAP BI4.0 webi reports? Kindly help us to solve the issue

Regards,

Prasad

Hi prasad,

Have you tried your comments with your report title description. We used to do this for report change history sometime back.

Hi Prasad,

The Webi rows in a vertical table are computed as array.

If you try to put any string in any cell, it will be validated for all the cells and would display on each of them.

There is no direct way to achieve this, however you can insert blank cells overlapping just enough on the column cells as below:

Hi,

this is not possible with default options availablw within the product. This is by design.

I saw a couple of custom solutions written with the Java SDK. There is one consulting solution available here in Germany.

You have two options here i guess.

1. Get in contact with your local SAP Consultung department in order to get consulting support.

2. Try it on your own with the Java SDK.
