Hi,
I am new to ESS, my requirement is to add a link to existing list on ESS (Personal data, address etc.,) for the employees to update the languages they speak.
I have gone through some posts and created the required language catalog (OOQA), cross checked the entries in T77S0 for QUALI, maintained an entry QUALI ESSST in Define root qualification group of SPRO ESS.
But, i am not sure of the steps to add the link on ESS and update the backend. Would really appreciate if someone can advise me on the steps to follow and prerequisites.
Thanks,
Sooraj
Hi Sooraj,
It all depends on the version of your ECC installation (which enhancement pack). You can refer to my blog, section "direct update" for more info http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/hcm/blog/2013/01/29/leveraging-qualifications-management-with-sap-e...
Kind regards,
Julien

Thanks Siddarth. I have actually gone through the above link. Our ABAP version is 4.6C and EP 7.0. So far we created transactions on ABAP side and the same has been called through iview to update the backend.
I don't see any skills iview. Do I need to go through any configuration? Could you please share with me any documentation. Have emailed the screen shot.
Thanks.
