Dear Sunil,

SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence (BI) solutions simplify data manipulation, allowing users to access, navigate, analyze, format, and share information across a corporate environment. The following products allow a wide range of processes, from search and navigation to advanced analytics, enterprise query, reporting and analysis, dashboards and visualization, and information infrastructure management.

SAP BI have charming scope for Reporting puropses. It has separate BW Server & info objects to store data from SAP & Non SAP Systems.Query generation is also a part of BI.

I would suggest you to kindly check in your particular area by asking SAP Professionals that Howz the scope specifically in your area.

2nd thing as a MBA Finance & HR iI would suggest you to go to the module which is relevant to your educational background.I have seen many SAP professionals who are not happy as they chose irrelevant module.SAP BI is quite different thing. For you Best Modules are FI, HCM.

HCM is quite growing field now and it is anticipated that it will be more popular in your future.

So I would suggest to keep yourself in your own domain so you will be happy & comfortable.

waqas

Hi Sunil,

Already your familiar with HR and FI knowledge.

If you more background on FI concepts its good scope to go SAP FI.

Its already known concepts to you and FI is very useful module for any organizations.

Even BI and BW can learn any one, there is no background of same areas.

But FI can learn who are familiar with theoretical concepts.

if your good FI related concepts like Accounts payable, receivables, ledgers and balance sheets.

FI will be best to you.

if any new concepts was introduced on reporting tools, there might be chance, to go for newer tools which was more useful than the present one.

But FI is not like that and never be replaced.

HR also ahve same scope.

Final one will be depend on your interest.

Thanks

Hi Sunil ,

I would rather prefer SAP BI against SAP FI taking into consideration the demand and Opportunities .

Learning SAP BI can provide lot of scope in building skillset in several other new technologies as well i.e. BO (Business Objects) , BODS( Business Objects Data services) , HANA .

SAP BI coupled with the above really provide a boost in one's career.

Also you can very much utilized FI skills in BW as it involves reporting from all the application areas including FICO.

Thanks

Kamal
