Installing BO XI 3.1 on 64 bits Linux

Hello, we are trying to install BO XI 3.1 (a 32 bits application) on a 64 bits Linux  server. Anyone knows is it possible and it won't get any problems later? It would be using Netweaver 7.0 as web application server. If it is possible, do we have to take any precaution with the client applications on Windows?

We are trying not to upgrade Netweaver since it seems more complex than just installing BO.

Thank you.

Hi Sebastian,

As Denis suggested there wont be any issues in installing a 32 bit application BO XI 3.1 on a 64 bit platform. Make sure that you install same patch client tools. Refer supported platforms on following link.

ok, thank you Denis and Sohel. I'll see then how it works. By client application on Windows, I was asking if they have to be 32 bits versions too.

client apps are all 32bit as well, but can be installed on any supported windows versions. 32 or 64bit ones. Just like any other windows program.

there are no problems installing XI3.1 (32bit) on a 64bit Linux platform, provided PAR document was reviewed and no discrepancies found.

Not sure what you're asking about client apps and windows.
