Broadcast message issue after EHP2

After installing EHP2 broadcast messaging is appearing along the bottom of the Web IC with the message "Please wait while fetching data..." How can this be stopped as broadcast messaging is not required.

Can you check if implementation of SAP Note 1928712 helps?

After implementation the caches on server and client should be cleared.

It should work then with

• IE8,
• IE9 and IE10 in compatibility view

Check if the functional profile BROADCAST is assigned to your IC Web business role, if yes then remove it and try again.

Our business role doesn't have BROADCAST function profile but still we are getting this error.

Can you please suggest.

Hi Siva,

Ask your BASIS team to check if Simple ABAP Messaging (SAM) is working fine or not. Or else try to assign a Polling profile (you can set polling frequency to 1000) to your Context Area profile which is assigned to your business role.

Also better raise message to SAP parallely to save time.

We are in CRM 7.0 and EHP2. Didn't get any option for setting polling frequency.

Didn't see the check box and the frequency info.

Scroll right on the polling profile screen and you will find it. Anyhow i can see you are using standard profile which should have all the data maintained i believe.

I am sorry its my bad, yes I could see that and as you said, it has Polling checked and frequency as 1000. Is there any thing I could change this to fix the issue ?

Have you checked regarding SAM, also can you try using other browser like Chrome or Firefox to see if you are getting that error.
