You cannot call F4 help in InfoPackage

Hi

There seems to be an SAP basis problem:

On every SAP ERP datasource (replicated sources) you are not able to use F4 help in the infopackages.

The dialog will prompt you for user/password of the ERP system.

Single sign on is configured and works fine if you directly select the ERP system.

Any ideas at which place there might be miss a property setting?

Thanks

PC

Hi Pc,

I thought your going to enter input values at info package selections. when you go for F4, its may asked you ecc log in id and password. if thats the one. might rfc issue between target and source system.

are you using generic data source of sap defiend one?

Thanks

Hi

Yes, it is generic datasource, defined by SAP.

Even content datasources are asking for access details to the source systems.

I am used to get the values from ERP automatically without prompt.

Thanks

Hi pc,

the field which your using  to give selections at info pack, need to maintain search help in ecc side. you can check search helps are maintained or not for that field.

Go to specific table at ECC side SE11, you can find there on tab Entry help/check, column search help. if search help was maintained for that field there, then only you may get f4 help at info pack.

Thanks

Th fact that it is asking you to login to ECC to get the F4 values, means you might not have RFC authorization access.

I don't think it's a major issue to you for logging with your credentials whenever you need F4 help.

Hi,

I think there is no other option for infopackage seleciton and settings available to avoid the logon screen when we click F4 selection.

If you use F4 in infopacke for a ERP datasource you should normally directly be connected with the value list of the ERP table.

Anyways, F4 in infopackage selection never works. you may use F4 values in RSA3 and check the values.

I don't think so. F4 should work via infopackage.

HI,

Are you talking about F4 or F1? F1 is for help and F4 is for available values.

F1 help comes along with the configuration. F4 will work after you have multiple values.
