Stock transfer in mrp area

Hello all, first of all forgive me if I posted in the wrong place or this problem has been discussed.

I set up MRP area type Storage Location because I want to do the production and consumption for a material in different storage locations.

So far so good but I have a little issue.

When I do MIGO stock transfer rezervation (A08->R09) to transfer stock from storage A to B, the field "storage location" is blank (field LGOBE).In this field should be the storage from which I make the transfer or storage for material production.

It is a way to solve this?

Hello

You should use BAdI MD_EXT_SUP to determine the issuing storage location for stock transfers.

Thank you Caetano, I'm back with a little delay because until yesterday I did not have accout to read SAP notes from your wiki.

I have tried to use BAdI MD_EXT_SUP following indications from SAP notes, I activated stock transfer between storage location, but with no result.

Maybe I did something wrong.

I see that in transfer reservation, storage location at which the material is stored is missing.

This is related with missing SL when I do MIGO  for transfer?

Hello

As I mentioned previously, there is no issuing storage location determination on the standard system. Therefore, you should check why the BAdI implementation did no work.

1 - Make sure that the active implementation of BAdI MD_EXT_SUP is deactivated, as described on note 961535 .

2 - Create your own implementation of the BAdI (you can use the sample code as example).

3 - Activate your own implementations.

If still, the issuing storage location is not determined by MRP, try to set a break-point on the BAdI and check if this logic is executed during MRP.
