Depreciation Rate for Calculation

Hi,

I have prepared Asset Register. I want to add one column for Depreciation rate in the asset register. This depreciation rate should be matching with the depreciation for that asset during a year.

I have tried various ways but not able to get a single depreciation rate which is calculated for the asset.

Hi,

I am preparing Asset Register. We have to give the Depreciation Rate in the Report for Audit purpose. I want to know from where we can fetch the Depreciation rates. I am checking the Asset Master AS02 and I am able to view the Depreciation Rate assigned against each asset. But I am not able to get the table from where we can fetch the Rate for that asset.

Please advice. Urgent.

Hi,

You can get Depreciation rates as under:

Pass Asset No- Sub number in ANLB and get AFASL

Pass AFASL in to T090NAZ and get T090NAZ_METSTU

Pass METSTU in to T090NS and get T090NS_AFPROZ

Hi,

I checked the query report with the tables suggested by you. I am getting different depreciation rates for the same asset. While cross checking in AW01N, the data doesnot give correct rates. Also, many assets are not getting picked in this report.

This way its not helping us. Please suggest what has to be done? Very Urgent.

Request you to check the input once again, as I have used same logic for one of the customized Asset report for depreciation calculation and it works perfect...

My Asset Register is working fine. I have to give the depreciation rates against the calculations. I want the data to be fetched direct from SAP. Kindly sugest what logic I should use, so that the depreciation rate shows correctly for that asset.

I guess, query report in SQ01 cannot give the result. If I ask my ABAPER for the logic to be put in the Asset Register report, what logic do they have to apply by using the tables and fields?

Hi,

To display the depreciation rates against the individual assets (& sub asset), give the same logic as given by me above.

Use Table "ANLB" and pass the asset number (Sub No) and get corresponding Depreciation key (AFASL)

Then Take this Depreciation key (AFASL) and pass in to T090NAZ and get which multiplelvel method (METSTU) is used for that depreciation key .

Then take this multilevel method (METSTU) and pass it from table T090NS and get Depreciation Rate (AFPROZ)..

It should work

Incase I want to know the asset depreciation rate for past, how to find or show that in my asset register report?

Hi Vicki,

SAP suggested report is AR18 where you can get planned depreciation values month wise in coloumn.
