Convert an information request sent from a website into a sales lead

Hi,

I would like to direct an information request that is sent from a website to my By Design and (automatically) create a sales lead based on the information in that request. Our friends from Salesforce.com have a solution that is pretty straightforward. You don't even have to create the HTML code for the information request page yourself. SF does that for you, albeit in a rather basic form. So, there's no developer required.

Can anyone tell me how this is done in By Design?

Thanks.

Eric Delahay

    Hello Mr. Delahay,

This can be done and has been done in SAP Business ByDesign with A2X services using the developer studio. However we do not have an out-of-the-box solution.

    Kind regards,

Hi Eric, what you need to do this is to consume a ByD Web Service, this is like a door and you can use it to put or pull information from ByD, once you have this, you need to implement a method in your web site that send the information to the ByD WS.

Actually it's not that complicated, if you're interested in do this please let me know and I'll be happy to help you in what I can.

    All the best.
