Reset button/Push Button concept not working

Hi Friends,

I have a dashboard which has drill down functionality. I have a scorecard as one of the drill down component from which we go to another scorecard and other components(Bar Graphs). When I drill down on scorecard and move to the next level and then I want to return back to my initial stage, I am not able to do it via Reset button. I read many forums where people have suggested to use push button functionality to move blank cells into the destination cells of my drill down component. But it is not fulfilling the purpose either. Dashboard goes to initial stage and come back to next level in fraction of seconds which I can see with my naked eyes. Please suggest a way to achieve this.
