Table control setting in purchase order

Dear all,

I would like to hide some columns in the PO line item overview screen by using the Table Control Setting which appears as a little icon in the right hand side.

I was trying to create a new variant, and then click the "Administrator" button to click field for example "Return" column as invisible. Then, I saved the setting with the variant. However, when reenter to the PO screen. The field is still visible, and I checked the variant, it seems like what I did was not saved into the variant.

I had tried few times with different ways and still failed to get it work.

Anyone has idea on how to make this work?
