Is there approval process for Purchasing Info Records in SAP?

Hi,

I have gone the SCN, and as per one of the posts dt. 16 Aug 2010, there is no such approval process in SAP.

My client actually wants to implement the Approval Process where in one person will create the Info Record and second person will authorize / release it before being used.

As per my senior, it is possible and asked me to explore the possibility.

Please guide.
