Multiple email addresses in vendor master

When we maintain more than 2 email addresses in vendor master record, we observed that the email address in the first line is being picked for sending PO emails.  What is the use of "Standard Number" radio button ?

Dear Sankaralingam,

I think your assumption is correct about this radio button but if it does not work as expected, i think

your system may have some custom modification. You may debug and pay attention to source LMEDRUCKF1K and check how the mailing adress get retrieved.

I can see from your screen shot that you are using IS-OIL

I assume you recently moved from 4.6 C to ECC6 and previously you were using email address with comma.

Please refer and check the applicablity of SAP Note for your case.

One email for one vendor through SAP standarad. You can find out otherways with help of ABAPer and BASIS as mentioned.

Hi,

Recently, I have worked on the fuctionality of PO reminder by email.

- Take help from abaper to develop one adderss distribution list vendor wise.

- Or, if you have some fixed email id's , then, it can be added in program hardcoded.

right in the beginning of this blog it is explained:

"Standard SAP will allow you to send the Email Delivery or Order Output automatically only to one Mail ID, for which the Radio Button is enabled as shown in the Screenshot" - this statement is not correct in our system (EHP6).  In our system, the PO email is being sent to the email ID in the first line.    For e.g. in the screenshot above, the PO email is being sent to TEST1@TEST.COM.  So the question is what is the relevance of Standard Number radio button.
