Pause message in workflow for appropriate request

Hi

I want a msg to appear while approving the workflow for appropriate request. The reason being by mistake the approver clicks on hold or post phone. While doing so I want a msg with the action taken so that the approver will be cautious while approving. Other wise the workflow starts from the first approver.

I do not recognize some of the terminology which you are using (e.g. what is an appropriate request), so I am thinking that maybe this question is not PPM-related.

Are you referring to a process in Portfolio and Project Management? if not, which application/product are you referring to? or does the question concern workflows in SAP in general?
