Hi everybody,
we have a workset assigned to roles R1, R2, R3, R4.
Inside this workset we have a page P1, assigned to the same roles as before.
Inside this page we have 3 iViews: I1 assigned to all, I2 to R2 and I3 to R3.
How can we manage this without creating new items? (maybe modifying the permissions on iViews?)
Thanks in advance
Pier
If we set "invisible" in the Page Layout anyone of the roles can see the iView.
If we copy as delta-link the workset we will duplicate the whole structure that is what we wanted to avoid.
We tried to realize your third suggestion but it doesn't work.
Thanks anyway.
Do you have any other idea?

Hi Pier Luigi, you can use the iview property "invisible in navigation areas" to hide the iview in the role, but this property is not dependent of user.
In order to this, this iview only could be displayed if you call it with the complete link.
Other possibility is to use a permissions structure according to your requirement.
I can see an iview only if I have authorization for see it.
Regards.
You've got a check in the page Layout of the page containing your iViews to make it visible or not.
AFAIK, you will have to create delta-links of your Workset and maintain iViews in each of these ...
But maybe your guess is right. Try to maintain the ACL (Access Control List) of your iViews I1, I2, I3 with the corresponding roles.
In each iView, set the authorization to 'None' for the roles you don't want and Full Control for the correct role.

Our problem is that we can't hide iview I2 to R1, R3, R4 and I3 to R1, R2, R4.
Thanks for your attention

I don't understand your question ??
If it's the same objects that are managed, you should use Delta-Links.
