Hi Sai,
Just to elaborate a little further on what Kalyan has mentioned, ICDATA helps us to do the reconciliation. Since every person has authorization to their respective entities, one entity A's owner cannot see what his trading partner has booked against entity A. Hence, reconciliation is a problem. To enable this, ICDAT is used. Then ICBOOKING is used to balance it out depending on the buyer or seller rule.
Hope this helps.

Hi Sai,
Uselimination is used for management consolidation and ICelimnation is used in legal consolidation. However, ICelimination can also be used for management consolidation if that is the requirement.
When you run ICDATA contra entries are created in books of trading partner, after running ICDATA we can generate intercompany mismatch report to identify the mismatches. There is no need to maintain any business rule to run ICDATA
ICBOOKING - post entries to remove the intercompnay mismatches based on the business rule defined.
