Hi experts,

I'm trying to hide the "Save & New" button in the system.

Image below:

I tried to hide in "localizated resources" , "system properties"  over "system" and "user interface" sets, but no sucess

Any clues ?

Thank you,

R. Navajas

Hi Renan,

You can use toolbar customization for this feature.

The Target Toolbar ID to be used is: system.toolbar.ui.system_wrapper.saveandnew

Customization type should be Global and Navigation. Screnshot below will help you complete this.

Thanks,

Thank you Vikram ! That solved my problem.

Where can I find the whole ID addres "system.toolbar.ui.system_wrapper.saveandnew" ?

I was looking over "Extension Definitions" without success.

Thank you all again,

Hi,

For more info on the concept, you can refer the blog available below:

Thanks,

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is technically possible. Did you check the toolbar customizations?

Hi Renan ,

Is it that you are looking to control the creation of contracts , then you can directly remove the create rights in the associated security profile and this tab shall not be visible.

Hope it helps.

Thanks

I agree with Bram ("I'm not sure if this is technically possible").

You could try toolbar customizations on the system.toolbar.ui (you'll have to find the exact name of the save and new, otherwise you'll hide the other buttons (save, done, cancel) as well).

Just have in mind that the Save and New button appears in other classes in the system. If you only want to hide for UDO you'll need to create (if possible) the toolbar customization in the Business Object level.

Other alternatives would have to try scripts to hide or lock the button but you'll also need to confirm if it's feasible.

Cheers,

Robert
