M0001 to trigger email IT change - Assignment to feature M0001 did not take place

Hi,

I have a dynamic action as below:

     0014      BETRG 06 45 M M0001

Feature M0001:

     IDTXT MAIL_FOR_I0014

     SUBTY 0010

     OUTBX X

     DISTR DIST_LIST

I have maintained text MAIL_FOR_I0014 with id PAMA in SO10 and distribution list DIST_LIST in SO04 with SAP user name logon.

But when maintain the record in IT0014 I'm having the error "Assignment to feature M0001 did not take place" and email is not sent.

Please guide me to resolve the problem.

Can you please share the screen shot of the M0001.

Does it have a return value of otherwise.

Please also check if the IT0001 is maintained for the employee

I was able to recreate the same in my system, and i am not getting the error as you have mentioned.

Just can you please do my checks

1. Check if the Pers Admin is mainted in the system in IT0001.

2. If maintained check if the Id maintained has a user attached to the same in table T526 for the group that you have attahced.

3. Check is the User id attached in the T526 is having a email id attached in SU01..

4. Also check is the employee for whom you are check has the Infotype 0105 subty 0001 maintained.

5. If the ports are opened it will not come to external mail , check it in SBWP.

Hope this will solve it.

I am able to receive the mail in SBWP.

Once maintained the same with come in the drop down in the IT0001 for employee.

I have assigned a SAP user name to employee in Infotype 0105.

The same user name has been assigned to administrator group in T526.

This SAP user name has email maintained in SU01.

However nothing comes in Administrator field in IT0001 and no mail is sent.

I have maintained the SAP user ADMIN with an email:

Assigne this user to an employee in IT0105 stype 0001:

Table T526:

IT0001:

I have customized to display the field in V_T588M but it did not work. Also checked in SE16 and even manually created new record here but still no luck.

seems a very peculiar problem really..

I have not seen anything like this.. just one last check can you please send the screen shot of T588M for the infotpe 0001 , will check

reference screen attached.

There are 2 resons for this error

The message "Assignment to feature & did not take place" has the following reason:

• Feature M0001 or a customer-specific copy uses decision fields that can only be filled if infotype 0001 exists.
• For these decision fields, no return is defined for the 'other' case, that is, if the content is SPACE.
