Product cost planning - Create estimate as std price * a factor

Hi Experts

I have a requirement where i need to create a condition price which is calculated by taking the standard price and time it with a factor.

The factor is found by looking at material group and the plant.

I know that i easily can do a program for this but i would prefer to keep to standard functionality so im trying to think of a way to do such a estimate via a new costing variant setup.

Perhaps easy cost planning can be used but i haven't used the tool before so im not sure.

Any suggestions to how such a setup could be configured.
