Hi All,

Just want to know, how function module works? Do the FM maintained by Functional consultant?

Hi Sunil,

Best way is to go to Transaction SE80. Select Package and give value BBP_PRODOC.

Under Function Groups you will get all the Function modules with description used in SRM as per object types and other functionalities.

As a functional consultatnt you no need to maintain any FMs in SRM.

You can execute the FM for test purpose in Developemnt or QA systems.

Example: FM BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER_V2 is used to transfer Shopping Cart in case of error during transmission to backend system.

Function Module in SRM is same as in SAP ABAP.

Hello,

Function modules are standard objects available in SRM. You can access them via SE37 in SAP_GUI.

You can create your own functions also in order to be used in custom implementations.
