Notification- Rework Order creation

Hi Experts

Business requirement: Material procured externally are reworked at plant.

In some cases of  external procurement if defects are found then the defects can be removed by doing rework at plant at plant work center.

After defect recording Quality department raise a notification to Purchase department .In turn Purchase department suggest for internal rework after negotiation with vendor to debit the rework cost.

Requirement : In notification , Client wants to create rework order from notification action box .

Please suggest.

Dear Manish

Check Action Box of Notification type Q1 i.e Activity Create Repair Order is defined. You can use it.

You can define this activity in notification type in which you want to define.

Basically you have to define Activity and have to assign specific function module and business function so that desired functionality can be achieved.

If you required any other specific functionality then develop you own custom developed functional module for that and assign for that activity.

Thanks for reply, I tried but count not find function module to create rework order from notification.

1.can we use  standard function module to create production order.

2. how system determine what values to be passed to which field of FM.
